Junior Sales Engineer – IN, USA
COMPANY AND POSITION OVERVIEW
Geniatech USA LLC is the US subsidiary of Geniatech Inc., a worldwide manufacturer of custom hardware/software solutions for IoT, Smart Home, Digital Signage, Hospitality and other cloud connected technology solutions. The US office provides customer engagement/support for North America customers.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Junior Sales Engineer will be the main point of contact for multiple North America based customers
• Lead customer requirements gathering and sample evaluation
• With assistance from engineering team, define and quote development projects
• Drive Geniatech internal development and factory teams to complete the project on time and on budget
• Provide ongoing technical and sales support to multiple customers
• Set up and staff various trade show exhibit booths
• Independently generate and follow up new customer leads
• Support leads provided by the internal sales team
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical or business field required
• Experience with Android, Linux, and/or Windows IOT Core desirable
• Experience with devices for A/V, wireless networking, AWS, Azure, GCP desirable
• Previous sales experience desirable
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Fluent in English and Mandarin
• Strong Interpersonal and Communications Skills
• Experience with MS Office or Similar Tools
ADDITIONAL NOTES
• Position is based in our Indianapolis office but will require travel to customer sites, trade shows, and company facilities in China
• Co-working with our Shenzhen and Hefei China based teams will require flexible working hours
• For non-US citizens, eligible student visa required for first 12 months minimum. Company sponsorship is possible after initial 12 months
• Company provided housing is possible
